I've only driven it 500 miles since purchase as I have too many toys and that's why I'm selling it. I rebuilt the rear brake cylinders and added a new intake manifold and Weber DGV carb. Other than that it's a solid runner and needs little other than a soft top, the mechanism is intact. Mechanically the car runs well, It just passed aircare recently. I'm in the process of applying for collector plates. I removed the Stromberg carbs (still have them) and fitted a Weber and new intake manifold. When I purchased the car the brake booster had been disconnected so it has a hard brake pedal. I have the booster but it requires rebuilding or replacing. Interior is decent. If I were to keep the car I would obviously purchase a soft top and also replace the tires but other than that it's good to go. I'm looking for a good home for this car. I would prefer to sell it locally | |||||

Paint was power polished, new brakes including shoes/pads/hoses/springs/lock plates/spring plates/wheel cylinder/adjusters and calipers rebuilt with new stainless pistons. New water pump, new soft top, new door seals/window seals. New chrome air cleaners/mirrors, factory hardtop(window needed) new rubber on bumper over riders as well as boot hinges. Recent provincial safety inspection (Alberta...only failure was a crosstube bushing that was fixed as well) new carpet in cockpit and boot and a full custom leather interior. The car sports brand new minilites with brand new rubber. There is not a speck of rust on the car and the frame is as solid as the day it left the assembly line. Along with the car is a good amount of extra parts including brand new rebound straps for the rear suspension, stock rims and hubcaps as well as the factory batwing air cleaner. The original owners manual is supplied along the the workshop manual. Dash is in good condition as are all gauges, everything works except the horns. Color is red and the immaculate leather interior is white with red piping, the paint looks fantastic from 10 feet but up close there are flaws. All in all a good driver that impresses in traffic but with a paint job when desired would be a concourse car of envy. | |||||
